Application Information
Candidates must have completed an approved diagnostic radiology residency prior to the start of the Emergency Radiology fellowship. The program participates in the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP).
Interested applicants should submit the following between August 1 - November 1:
- A completed application
- Updated curriculum vitae
- Personal statement
- Medical school transcripts
- Copy of your medical school diploma
- USMLE scores
- Three letters of reference (one must be from the applicant's residency program director)
- A current photo
Once all the above-named items have been received, the application will be reviewed and the program director will make an interview determination. Interviews are scheduled according to the NRMP timeline.
An applicant without United States citizenship must have a J-1 visa or a permanent resident card in order to be employed as a resident/fellow at UMMC. Graduates of foreign medical schools must have an ECFMG certificate. All parts must be current when the applicant begins the program.
